Design & Build Process
- 1. Initial During this initial phase we will determine what size home you are looking for, desired location, size of the home, number of bedrooms and bathrooms you would like. Doing this we can get an estimated cost of your custom home.
2. Plans & Design To begin designing your new custom home we can either meet with an Architect we recommend or one of your choice. It is always a good idea to come prepared with photos of rooms, kitchens, windows, ceilings and any details of inspiration you may want to include in your new home.
Each custom home has several stages of the Architectural process. You should give yourself at least 3 months for this stage. Although this stage is a lengthy
process the more details and notes decided upon the design process the easier it will be for everyone.
3. Financing Once we have a good idea of what size and type of custom home you are interested in building we will discuss financing. We have a few different financing options available to you.
4. Contract After the Floor Plans & Elevations are completed to your satisfaction, we will present a contract for the construction of your new custom home.
5. Financing Once the contract is finalized, the plan designs of your home, and specifications are presented to the lender of your choice. The lender will then review, underwrite and apprise the proposed custom home.
6. Closing Upon the finalizing of the mortgage underwriting a closing date for your loan will be set soon after. Once the closing is finished it is our job to prepare all of the documentation for constructions and have permits in place to begin construction as soon as possible.7. Construction We are known to make the actual building process as easy as possible. While in construction we welcome you to visit the site of your future home as often as you would like. Through out the build there will be numerous site meetings where details of your home will be discussed.
8. Finalized With all phases of construction and punch outs are completed, it’s time to move into your new beautiful custom home!
